Currently, it's impossible to scroll back through console history while a job is processing. The console could be much more useful with a scrollbar and a way to pause auto-scrolling. I envision a checkbox (default checked) for "scroll on output". This could be disabled and the scrollbar used to review previous information the job has generated.
