There is now a concern if one is a new Ortho4XP user and who has a new Mac or a new Monterey installation. Two days ago, I deleted Homebrew, https://brew.sh, which deletes all Homebrew installed packages. When I reinstalled it, I got warnings about Homebrew for Monterey being beta, still. This is cause for concern, Monterey is now version 12.1. I reinstalled the Homebrew packages as per the Ortho4XP instructions. This resulted in installing a new version of Python 3.9 and requiring that one install a new version of the Command Line Tools and Tk.
I will need to get back to them about this beta warning, but I wanted to call attention to this now, because once again there are Gdal issues. The 1/3" servers not found errors and concerns remain, as expected. However, USGA 1" is not working now, and returns this error in the Ortho4XP window, and log:
"ERROR: in reading ./Elevation_data/+30-100/+31-099_NED1/w001001.adf -> replaced with zero altitude."
It will continue to process through step one. Unfortunately when one tries to proceed through step two, one gets the following error:
Step 2 : Building mesh for tile +31-099 :
Recycling ./Elevation_data/+30-100/+31-099_NED1/w001001.adf
ERROR: Cached raster elevation does not match the current custom DEM specs.
You must run Step 1 and Step 2 with the same elevation base.
The first three steps proceed as expected if one uses Viewfinderpanorama.
