Hello.

We are able to successfully use Git4C to render Readme files in confluence pages,
however after some time previously working rendering fails with following issue:

Error rendering macro 'Git4C Single File'
java.lang.IllegalStateException: defaultDocItem must not be null

There is workaround where if I co and edit save settings, it will display Readme file properly again.

Version: 1.6.0-RELEASE-4f916ba

You can try to get unofficial version from my fork. I update some dependencies to newer versions, fix some bugs and add some features.

With all due respect, dear @Compitek, why I should I trust repo that you forked and updated 12 days ago with 'some dependencies to newer version'. That (1) does not explain and (2) not necessarily fixes above issue.

Assuming that instructions above are clear enough to reproduce the issue, I would expect you to try to reproduce the issue - or at least analyze the code - if you are responding to this thread.

If you are trying to contribute code to open source, I suggest you creating pull request against this repository and negotiate merge first - I don't see any.

If for some reason this plugin is not maintained, and you did all the effort to publish new version into Atlassian market, and provide proper new product web page, with changelog, and all the jazz all nice projects has (like this one), then I might start considering it.

But right now, I would rather wait for response from original author.

Thank you for understanding.
