It would be nice to get some automated notifications happening:

  • when nothing is happening (queue work is not being processed)
  • when there are unexpected errors
  • some graphs showing number of processed tasks over time would also be nice
  • maybe writing to the gitter room too if there's a problem

@bdunne I was thinking that this would be something that would be good for the chat bot feature that I POC'd a few months ago:

Having a @miq-bot status command might not be a bad idea, assuming the metrics were made public facing, but it would avoid the need for having to ping you or Jason when something seems fishy with the bot.
