We could install and use for testing purposes the Dev version of SQL Server without any limitation

There are some specific issues with the MS SQL:

  1. Alternative SQL syntax for the LIMIT operation
  2. Different binary and geometry types
  3. Specific filtering of system tables
  4. Specific path to table through all levels of the hierarchy tree
