No, but if you don't trust the exe you can always install Python and run the script directly.
The exe is built using pyinstaller, which basically packages whatever is needed to run it without otherwise having to install Python itself. It's provided as a convenience for Windows users who otherwise aren't used to running scripts.
EDIT: After looking into it a bit more, this will hopefully be less of a problem with the next release of pyinstaller. pyinstaller/pyinstaller#5579
