I've found My page loads fast, but then sets content-visibility: visible in idle time - so hopefully before the user scrolls to it. My code isn't perfect, feel free to critique! It does sometimes cause blocking if style/layout takes more than 50ms for each section. |

This is a very speculative question, and goes beyond my comfort with CSS, so I am writing this a discussion, not as an enhancement.
Could it be used to enhance performance by adding it to individual spans inside an equation?
I see there is now some browser support?
An additional related piece of information that may be useful to someone writing a lot of KaTeX:
I wrap my page sections in content-visibility: auto (which uses contain), with massive (really large) improvements to my lighthouse score but again only works on chrome-y browsers. I tried using it for individual equations, but it produces too much flicker.
