I have tried every combination of Select and AsyncSelect, setting options explicitly and setting it through loadOptions (promise and callback), setting isLoading false, omitting noOptionsMessage/loadingMessage and setting them to () => null, ... etc etc, and for the life of me I cannot get the menu to simply retain its current options while searching. The closest I've come with Select is that options will be retained EXCEPT when going from the "default" options to some initial search, wherein it will briefly replace the old options with "No Options". With AsyncSelect I can't get even that. It will always say Loading while the async call is being performed. If it helps, I have a 300ms setTimeout to throttle API calls on keystrokes. Thanks for any help. |

filterOption={() => true}
stopped that behavior.
