This is most likely an inkscape issue? But I also wonder if they can handle -9.9999999999999997989e-13 as the value for --export-background-opacity.

thanks for your answer, why not set 0 as the value for --export-background-opacity

We get an opacity for '0' for the latest releases of ImageMagick as expected. We're not sure why you instead get a really small number.
