Timeout errors in custom-metrics-stackdriver-adapter

Hi!

I've been following instruction to install custom metrics driver on GKE rapid channel (version: 1.23.3-gke.1100)

I've not been able to get the metrics for HPA, and found the error logs in the adapter: (both in new and legacy adapter) (removing IP adderss)

I've searched in this repo and other places but couldn't really find a solution. Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks!
