When I added the "Get notified" submenu here, I noticed that it doesn't work great on mobile, because the submenu is almost always off-screen. I think this is a general problem with submenus. Maybe for small screens we should like, expand the menu item vertically instead?

Not crazy, but also maybe the real solution is to fix the popper placement algorithm? Do you have a screenshot?

JP Addison I added a screenshot above. I feel like the issue isn't really the popper placement, because if the submenu opened to the left of the menu then it would still go offscreen. On mobile there is very little horizontal screen space and two-layer menus are a bit of a stretch.
