Cresting route via a specific path/road #181
Comments
Unfortunately there is no good way to do this right now. This issue is already being tracked as #19. I can recommend two workarounds for you right now:
In both cases unfortunately you won't be able to drag the route. Also, have you tried the “Hiking” route mode? I could imagine that that could at least partly try to follow long-distance hiking routes. |
Found this and works. Super cool! I wonder tho how can I save this as the default map? I wanted to be able to share with others. I mean to share the route itself. I can save the map but not the route? |
Ok I managed to kinda do it https://maps.trom.tf/QMOiDDPV7SFQ - but it is still an interesting idea to be able to select a specific path/trail when you create a route. And for now there is no such option as far as I understand. |
I am giving you an example: I am trying to create a route from one side of spain, to another, via a very well known route called GR11. I select the start and end points, and the route it is created it is the fastest. But I cannot select to follow only the GR11 route. Or is it possible? Dragging the path to GR11 is too much for such a huge route (over 800km).
