  • Obtain the most recent schema of the database (related to Generate ER diagram from the most recent DB schema #9)
  • Find the most relevant tables or views for mapping to vocabs/ontologies
  • Export the tables or views into CSV file
  • Transform the CSV file into RDF graph(s) using OpenRefine (prototyping)
  • Transform the database tables or views into RDF using RDB2RDF (R2RML) (production)

The database schema or dictionary does not seem to conform to the one described in the LOFAR MeasurementSet document (page 29, Fig.1: ER diagram)

Message from Laurens on Slack:
The most relevant terms, written in "Hanno Spreeuw Ontology" are:
Epoch
Spectral Window
Pointing
FWHM
Duration
This sort of maps to:
time
channelWidth
the entire Pointing Table
duration

What does FWHM mean? What does it map to?
lbogaardt [10:29 AM]
Full width half maximum. I haven't found anything similar in our tables, so it seems to map to nothing...
It's a measure of precision / error

FWHM is the ratio between the wavelength and the largest baseline (distance between two stations).
