For the most part, headings and short sentences are translated. But there are a few gaps with larger chunks of text that have been added over the past year or two since we introduced Welsh translations.

  • Do a manual spot check through templates to ensure where text strings exist, they are accompanied by blocktrans tags
  • This will highlight lines in the translation file that are blank for Welsh translations where we need to fill in
  • Given the cost of translations, we should then do an overall accuracy check that the shorter sentences and headers we've translated internally are in fact accurate in each context. For example, verbs might need to be made gender neutral, phrases that include a number may need reordering
  • We could also improve our workflow by adding a check that translations files have been updated if there is a blocktrans tag added or other text change to a template.

(everything else looks pretty good, I think these are just broken, won't require new translations)
