It's not that bad on a ChromeOS device with a real keyboard but even there it is annoying to have to reenter all the data again after a reinstallation (or just deleting a destination) (and it is made worse by getting a new public key I have to carry to the sysadmin who then has to create a new certificate). Please consider finding a way to safely export and import configurations.
