Currently, the links to internal sections of the README are not working on the docs generated by Sphinx.

I'm also looking forward to have internal links working, e.g. the default role in Sphinx is "py:obj" and I've included a markdown file containing highlighting to classes/objects in my library via `object` links. Eventually I'm doing something wrong as this is already implemented.
Note that I have included my markdown file via the mdinclude directive in a rst file and the linked objects are created via autosummary/autodoc.

Ah sorry, I now noticed, that my comment is off-topic... should I open a new issue?
