Currently there is no way for an organizer to cancel an event.

Organizers should be able to cancel an event. This functionality should also be rolled out with notifications so that all users who have joined the event (except the user who is cancelling it) are notified of the cancellation when it is cancelled.

Eventually it would be nice to also allow the organizer who is cancelling to provide a reason why so that when everyone is notified they know why it is being cancelled. If this is easy to include in this update, we should do it the first time around. If not, the "reason" idea can be shelved until a later version.

Maybe this should be included in #4183 ?

This is not possible from the current API at the moment, so will need to add a new RPC
