Standard-version is getting deprecated

Sorry to throw a wrench in the gears here, but I've recently noticed that the standard-version package used to generate releases and changelogs is getting deprecated by the author.

The author recommends another package for the job: https://github.com/googleapis/release-please

There is another community member who seemingly maintaining a forked version of standard-version: https://github.com/absolute-version/commit-and-tag-version

I don't know the best way forward here, but I know I too will have to explore the alternatives in the near future.

Thanks for the heads up.

As long as it still does what it's supposed to, there is no urgent need for us to change or upgrade.
