I can't immediately tell you what might be the issue. The server doesn't do anything complex with the worker threads, it starts up the requested amount of workers which each work independently. This is all the relevant code: https://github.com/CommunitySolidServer/CommunitySolidServer/blob/main/src/init/cluster/ClusterManager.ts. I'm not an expert on worker threads but perhaps because you are running more worker threads than there are CPU cores? |

Hello, I am attempting to develop a keyword search client app over the contents of my text files stored in multiple pods within a CSS by utilizing HTTP GET request with Axios in the Express framework in Node.js. To improve the response time, I employed a multi-threading approach using Node.js worker threads (run 10 threads in parallel over existing 10 Pods). I set up my CSS in multithreading mode by using -w. CPU is multi core. However, it appears that this approach creates a thread pool, and leading to a slowdown in my query. I have checked my code, all threads start in same time but all threads take longer to be executed. Do you have any idea what's CSS issue with multi threading approach? Is there any additional configuration do I need to do? Thank you.
