How to register a new pod after setting up my provider website?

I've just setup a pod provider for internal test:

https://pod.versetensor.com

How to change this page to a UI that has something like "Register" "Login"?

And I found https://pod.versetensor.com/idp/register/ is the same, so how to register on this provider?

I've added -b https://pod.versetensor.com when starting the server, so it is different, but still doesn't have a "Register" "Login" button when visiting this URL.

So is it necessary for us to create a separate website, that has a "Login/Register" button pointing to https://pod.versetensor.com/idp/register/ ? (Instead of just use https://pod.versetensor.com as main website)

I see

This server provides secure storage, but it is not a client app.

So this is different from NSS, which provides a basic default browser. I may need to find a way to customize these pages, so I can provide my preferred POD browser for user.

You will indeed need to use nginx or something else to redirect requests to the root of your server to a different page. The Solid specification prevents from having data at a "lower level" than where the pods are, if you have pods on a server.

I'm planning to have a solution in a future version of the server where you can link a static page for the root of the server through the configuration to get around this.
