Currently, there is a limit of 5 five to add to a (question of a) pre-registration.
This is not enough.
I often pre-register my analytical code and the way I write my syntaxes with a master file I use multiple scripts. Perhaps more than 10, including data files.
I always run into problems when I pre-register my files on OSF. This is particularly problematic for the "Registered Report Protocol Preregistration" which also allows only 5 files even though this is supposed to contain an entire prospective research project.

We've discussed changing this limit and it's likely changes to this workflow will eventually be made to improve the user experience. However currently I'd recommend just zipping multiple files into a zipped directory and uploading that. Hopefully that works for your use case. Thanks for asking this, we hope to release improvements to the files workflow over the next few quarters.
