Pagination for databases not working for large number of databases

Due to the nature of the widgets to only check the "loaded" databases' validity, i.e., only check the databases that have currently been loaded from the given "page", the pagination fails if some databases need to be excluded, which are not part of the first page.

A temporary fix (setting the page_limit=100) is implemented in #274.
