Current experience: On the Edit Patient screen, there is currently a greyed out/inactive button that reads "save and start test." This button only becomes active when an edit is made to the patient's information. As a result, if a user navigates to the patient screen by clicking on the patient's name, they cannot initiate a new test from this screen. This inconsistency and lack of functionality can be confusing and frustrating for users.
Reason for change: By making the "save and start test" button always accessible and active, and by modifying its label to read "Start test," users will have a clear and consistent way to initiate a new test for a patient from the Edit Patient screen.
User story
As a SimpleReport user, I want to be able to start a new test for a patient directly from the Edit Patient screen, so that I can initiate the testing process without having to navigate to a different screen.
Action Requested
Please modify the Edit Patient screen in SimpleReport to ensure that the "save and start test" button is always accessible and active.
Update the label of the button to read "Start test" or "Start test for this patient" to provide clarity to the users. (if changes to the patient data have not been made)
leave existing text in place if the form has changed
