I am not sure what this is... I will need some elaboration if this is sincere.

Please do not close this ticket before the solution.

I see. Why do we need to change the account type?

@AdamKorcz: Personal account is for a real person, not a company.
And it is easy to see the difference.

Yes, that is correct, but that does not really answer my question. Why do we need to switch the account type?

@AdamKorcz: It is easy: @AdaLogics is:

  • A person?
  • A company?

Yes, sure, but what is the issue using the library if it is in a personal Github account? I am not saying there isn't one btw. Just trying to understand the use case.

@AdamKorcz: It will better to manage repositories if @AdaLogics becomes an organization.
It is free.

@AdamKorcz from the PoV of the consumers if the library there is barely any difference

It is more to organize things better, you can't group your staff into teams and can't add policies to all your repos at once.

Now, from @AdaLogics own PoV there are big differences, the most clear one is that using a personal account for an organization is against GH's Terms of Service.

There are also licensing problems that y'all might face depending on which GH features or third party GH apps you used, especially things that are per user.
